Hi all! Does anyone have experience with obtaining a non-B while in the country?
- I am currently on a SMART-T visa (a 4 year visa given out by the National Innovation Agency branch of the Thai government, on which I do not need a work permit to work for 'innovation companies')
- The company I work for has been acquired, which is why I have to change to a new company; as far as I've heard from the National Innovation Agency I cannot transfer my SMART visa to this new position.
- It seems I would have to change my SMART visa to a non-b for which I would need to leave the country.. obviously not ideal at the moment!
Would be great to learn from anyone that has any tips or has experience with SMART visas!
