What nationality is the person who requires a US visa ?

South african. Not possible in home country as will be traveling in Thailand.

looks like SA passport holders are not able to apply for a US e'Visa so unfortunately it's the US embassy in SA

By the way Google is amazing it really does answer lots of questions.
