I went to CW this morning, trying to follow the advice of the moderators of this group. I was looking for the list of documentation required for non-O over 50 retirement extension of stay.

I was handed a TM 7 and some paper that’s stating my permission to stay is about to expire and I would like to extend my stay for a year. (I think).

Nobody’s offered me any other list of documentation that’s required.

I see one of the mods has recently posted a sample list. These copies you speak of. Is it one copy of each document and picture or are two required.

I'm on an extension of stay for my non-immigrant B visa (teacher, 1 year stamp in early May). My husband arrived on an 90 day non-immigrant O visa to accompany me in March, and we're applying for his first 1 year extension of stay. I have two questions:

Is the TM 7 Application for Extension of Stay in Thailand the correct form to fill out?

When we state the length of extension, should it be written to expire the date my extension expires (early May, less than a full year) or written to expire 1 year from the date of application?

Hi, we intend extending our 60 day tourist visa in at koh phangan immigration. What paperwork do we need to apply for it please. Cheers

IF how to properly meet income documentation requirements to successfully apply for and receive a one year extension of stay based on being age 50 or over IS NOT a valid subject for discussion here, then I do not know what issue is more important in preparing a TM 7 Application for an Extension.

The issue of properly meeting the recently changed financial rules for qualification is The Most Important Aspect in applying for a one year Extension of Stay. Because without properly meeting the new financial rules - no other requirement even when successfully met matters at all. The ability to meet the financial rules as now stated is complicated in some aspects especially in documenting the source of the monthly income. Expats want answers on this issue and denial of discussion about this issue is wrong headed and a disservice to members.

How do I extend my 30-day visa exemption at Promenada in Chiang Mai? (Specifically, what do I need to take with me, where do I go, what do I do/ask for/say etc?) Sorry if this has been asked a million times before but I searched the group and couldn’t find anything so specific. Thanks.

I have searched for an answer to this and can not find the answer. What are the requirements (apart from paying 1900 baht) for getting an extension to a 30 day exempt? I will be in Chiang Mai.
