Someone please refresh my memory. Is it 2 months or 3 months after you get your retirement extension of stay, that you are permitted to lower your Thai bank account balance from 800K THB to 400K THB and still meet the requirements to legally be in country. TIA

I’m about to have my 1-year Extension of Stay via marriage renewal interview soon and was wondering if anyone knows if, when you go to get the result a couple of weeks later, and receive the requisite stamp in your passport, they still check to see if the 400K THB is still in your bank? It’s supposed to be, but I’d like to start using the money again for other things. TIA.

Parent of half Thai child visa questions;

1) Does the 400k Thb have to be seasoned.?

2) Does the proof of funds need to come from overseas bank or can I put cash in Thai Bank.?
