Looking for some information if possible! I plan to retire to Thailand in July so was thinking of travelling into phuket so I don't have to quarentine after 1st of July. My question is how long do I have to stay in phuket before I can move on? I will make a retirement visa when I arrive and have had both vaccinations, I will be travelling from UK. Many thanks.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user plans to retire in Thailand and wants to enter Phuket in July to avoid quarantine. They seek information on how long they must stay in Phuket before traveling elsewhere in Thailand. Comments suggest that if the Phuket Sandbox program is initiated, a minimum stay of 7 days may be required before free movement within the country. However, current circumstances and regulations regarding travel from the UK raise uncertainties about the feasibility of this plan.

And ask direct the immigration as you extend the 30 days visa for all the papers you need to get a non o a visa. Retired..... they are easy if you are polite , normally you don’t need an agent , but if it’s not working I can give you one serious agent but they charge you ... should all be no problem
As you have the 60 days you need to be registered , so rent a small apartment and register you to this condo , or ask the hotel if they give you their address , written .. you need a letter from the bank that your money is 2 month on your account so it will be only a bit time ... don’t waste time ... for asking you need 15 days left on your visa ... so may be you ask the bank just some days before for the letter you need and pay a bit extra ....
ok , if they don’t sell visas you just fly in get 30 days open a bank account as described. 800 ooo needed and then extended direct the 30 days with a nother 30 days ... to have time
Well never the less , the plan is to open 1 July for all double vacillated virus free tourist, so go to the next consulate and buy a 60 days tourist visa witch can be extended again for 30 days , sob you will have 90 days . Only direct flys are allowed . So check the airlines , in Phuket you need to open a thai bank account and depot 800 ooo thb to month before you ask fir a retired visa . Try kasikorn bank they are easy . You need address on phuket , a rented apartment. At the moment very cheap , or your hotel will give you a letter that you resident there .
Best bet is to wait for the government to announce the opening of the "sandbox" and the conditions associated with it. Anything else is proposals and speculation. I certainly wouldn't be booking any flights, unless you're prepared to wait months for a refund.
