TLDR : Answer Summary
The current situation as of December 28th requires vaccinated travelers arriving in Bangkok to undergo a 7-day quarantine. The Thailand Pass is still operational, and all travelers are mandated to have it before flying. It’s advised to apply as soon as all travel arrangements are confirmed since processing can take up to 7 days. Alternatives like the Phuket Sandbox are suggested for those who prefer shorter quarantine periods.
Thanks guys, if I have to wait 7 days then not worth going until the 1 day test and go is back, not getting stuck in a hotel room that long not worth the hotel or the money you have to spend on an expensive hotel, thanks this has helped a lot
you can always do Phuket sandbox, there’s no knowing if or when test and go will return, at least on Phuket your only in the hotel room till your 1st PCR test comes back (negative)
Thailand pass was never removed , test and go was , if flying to Bangkok it’s 7 days ASQ with 2 PCR’s, Thailand pass says can take up to 7 days or if everything is correct & QR codes for both vaccines are ok it can be issued immediately , have seen some people been waiting a lot longer than 7 days so best to do it as soon as you have everything booked , flights, ASQ accommodation , travel insurance stating covid cover for at least $50,000 USD . You need all the info from flights & accommodation & travel insurance to fill out the Thaipass
