Hey,

My current Non-B visa runs out on the 24th August, and I have a 45 day grace period between my jobs until i go onto my new Non-B visa, is it advisable/would I be okay to come in on a visa on arrival even though Iโ€™ve been here for a year and a half already until I get put onto my new Non-B? Does anyone know if I would have any issues at immigration? Anyone had experience with this?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is concerned about entering Thailand on a visa exemption after their current Non-B visa expires, as they will be in a grace period while waiting for their new Non-B visa. A commenter clarifies that what the user likely means is using a free 30-day visa exemption rather than a visa on arrival, emphasizing that they should not expect issues at immigration if they explain their situation.

Don't believe you mean come in on a "visa on arrival" there

I think what you really mean is come back on a free 30 day "visa exempt" entry <-(which is not a visa on arrival, in fact, not a visa at ๐Ÿ˜ฎ all just a free entry stamp ๐Ÿ™‚ )

You're unlikely to get questioned about it and if you did get questioned you would just say you're between jobs and are waiting for new Non-B documents <- which is true ๐Ÿ˜‰
