TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquires about the status of their APEC Visa, which is set to expire on May 19, and whether it will be automatically extended until July 30 due to recent amnesty measures. Community responses suggest calling the APEC office for confirmation, while others note uncertainty about the situation and advise following Thai immigration rules.

I am on APEC Card too which expired on 27 April. I contacted my embassy via email (for recording purposes) they replied and advised that I followed the thai Immigration rules and if they extended the amnesty, just follow as per the rules. Honestly embassy dont know much too, it's all up to the thai Immigration department. But I will advised have some proof of communication with your embassy and keep the conversation as a proof that you are concerned and did ask for an answer but everyone is unsure what's going to happen. Guess in this situation, Immigration should be quite lenient and understanding. just explain to them.

I'd never trust advice that's given by your country's embassy about the laws in another country. The embassies are generally the last to know, and the last to update their website because of how cumbersome the communication process is between the embassy and Thailand.

hopefully. But you might be wise to visit your immigration office and ask ...just to be sure you are covered by the July 31 amnesty.

Sorry to jump on this.

I’m under the impression it’s until the 31st and nothing is set as it’s not yet published.

I'll leave this thread open because there are some APEC card members on the group, let's see if anyone answers

that's a good question, and I'd say CALL the APEC office and ask because honestly I don't know. I would GUESS that you're covered but I sure don't know for sure

Morning, I just call the hot line of immigration and they said that also APEC visa is extended till 31 July, I trust them but if someone have other confirmation please let me know......

I think best call immigration to see how they classify APEC visa. Normally if you have both APEC and a long term yearly Non B visa, you should enter based on Non B visa. But if you enter with APEC then this would be classified as short term visa and shd fall under this exemption.
