Bring a copy. Take a photograph of it too. Easy. Much better to bring it and not need it than to need it and not bring it.

just take your birth certificate , and give it when necessary .just a piece of paper , it is not that heavy .why ask the question ?

same for ID pictures have a few ready for when needed . life is simple .

I don't think so. I only needed it for getting my yellow housebook. In there is y'r mother and fathers name.
