Will My Immigration History Affect My Entry to Thailand with a Tourist Visa?

Just after some advice 😃 Australian passport

Entered Thailand 21/8/19 on 30 day exemption

Extended 30 days

Visa run to Vientiane 16/10/19

Extended 13/12/19

Left Thailand 6/1/20

Almost 5 months stay all up with the 30+30 initial and then the 60+30 TV

(Only entry before that was a 2.5 week holiday January 2019)

Im coming back in a month. I’m fighting Muay Thai at a decent level and would love to get an education visa however it is a bit out of my price range at the moment

I plan to get a tourist visa next week in brisbane and enter at DMK on that

With that previous history (I know it’s not a lot compared to some people), could it cause problems at immigration?

Is there another way? I’ve thought of flying into neighbour country and crossing by land but costs a lot more

No one is gonna tell you with and degree of accuracy if you're gonna get called aside and questioned or skate right thru when you go to stamp in.

Hope for the best, have proof of funds, proof of onward travel and proof of lodging just in case you're asked.

Education visa for a 1 mth training camp is overkill. You should be fine as you have been back is Brisvegas etc also and you are obtaining a legit visa there. No guarantees but seems like on paper it should be fine. Where are you training?

Frankly I think he will be questioned upon arrival at Don Mueang. Having a new visa is no guarantee of entry.

1. Nobody has a crystal ball. You may be able to enter, or not.

2. There's a VERY high chance you'll be approved for a visa in Brisbane, however, having a visa does not give you the right to enter.

3. The BEST way to enter Thailand is via Laos, through Friendship Bridge between Vientiane, Laos and Nong Khai, Thailand. I have not heard of any rejections occurring.

4. IF they (the border between Laos and Thailand) reject your entry based on your visa, you WILL get a 30 day visa exempt by land. You are entitled to two entries per calendar year, and each entry can be extended by another 30 days at immigration.
