My retirement visa expired on Monday 7th October. I flew into Cambodia and went to Thai embassy with appropriate documents and cash $1000 USD but told by the document checker I need bank statements for proof of income to apply for a tourist visa. My concern is I fly home to Australia on 17 December so need 58 days from when I re enter on 21st October. What are my chances of getting through immigration to get 30 days on arrival and then an extension from Jomtien if I fill out my arrival card for the correct number of days required? I’m struggling to find an Internet cafe here in Phnom pPenh that’s still operating to print copies of statements and just thinking about the back up plan.
Thanks
Mauro
