I really need advice with my situation. In 2019 in my passport I have:
* non-b from 17 May 2018 till 15 August 2018 with extension till 30 April 2019
* two re-entry stamps: one trip to Laos 15 -17 December 2018 and Japan 9-15 April 2019
* One 30 days visa exempt stamp from 30 April till 9 may
* And the last is Non-b from 10 May till 7 August
Unfortunately, my last employer couldn't provide documents to make a work permit and I have to get myself a new visa. What are my chances to get Single Entry Tourist Visa in Savanakhet? I'm living in Ubon Ratchatani and it's nearest consulate. Does consulate in Savanakhet stamp the passport if visa was rejected? And if I would be rejected with it, could I get SETV in Vientiane (I have an appointment)?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking advice on their chances of obtaining a Single Entry Tourist Visa (SETV) at the Thai consulate in Savanakhet after experiencing difficulties obtaining a work permit from their last employer. They inquire whether a visa application rejection would affect their chances of obtaining an SETV at another consulate in Vientiane. Responses suggest that individual visa decisions are made case-by-case and confirm that, based on previous entries and documentation prepared, there should be no immediate issues with getting the visa.
Thank you for warm words. I prepared completed applications for both consulates, copy of passport and TM.6, air ticket back to my home country, travel itinerary, original copy of Thai bank book with 25K and 20k in cash. Hope its enough.
1. I see nothing that would quickly stop you from getting a tourist visa in Savanakhet.
2. To my knowledge, getting a SETV rejected in Savanakhet will not have any impact on getting a SETV in Vientiane.
3. It appears you have not used up your two entries per year based on the bilateral agreement by land. If you get rejected, you can re-enter Thailand via Friendship Bridge.
I suggest confirming you have all the required documents needed for the SETV, and if you do, hope for the best.
a Visa application is a base to base case and the decision is made by the Employee of the Thai Consulate or Embassy, we can not tell you if you can get a visa or with how big your chances are. Make sure you have all the documents prepared and good luck.
