TLDR : Answer Summary
The users inquired about applying for a DTV Visa in Thailand while being in a civil partnership and having two children. The responses clarified that both partners can apply for their own DTV Visas individually, as they are not legally married. However, either partner can have the children as dependents on their visa. They will need to leave Thailand to apply, as the current status does not allow for a dependent application based solely on civil partnership.
not everyone desires to get married. My partner and I have been together for 32 years and we have 2 adult children. Getting married for us is a waste of money. In our eyes we ARE husband and wife. We don't need a piece of paper to confirm this.
maybe you have that attitude. Glad all men aren't like you. Obviously you've never heard of a defacto relationship. Just like a marriage, everything is
That is fine, but you have to live with the consequences of your decision.

Yes you will need to leave Thailand to apply and you will need to apply individually ( meeting the requirements individually) as you are not married The children can be dependent on either visa
You can both qualify for your own DTV and apply for your own DTV, but you won't be able to have one of you apply and the other get a dependent DTV, as Thailand only recognizes full marriage. The children can be a dependent on either one of you though.
