So Do you think 500k as current just one day before would be accepted?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The discussion revolves around whether a deposit of 500,000 THB made just one day before applying for a visa in Thailand will be accepted. Contributors shared mixed experiences, noting that recent deposits could be problematic without sufficient historical balance in the account. One user indicated that having a substantial amount (like 270,000 THB) in the account for a few months, topped up by the required amount closer to the application date, could still be acceptable. Others reported successful applications despite recent deposits.

I submitted one month's bank statements and received an email saying I now have to submit six months' worth.

yes 6 months is for sure but the question here is

Does it have to be over 500k for the 6 months or just the closing balance (last day at 500k)

Thank you, I will submit it tomorrow as well, but the result will come out in five working days.

I can only achieve a balance of more than 500k at the end of the period, so I am a little worried.

They tell you right there 500k 6 months minimum 🤦🏼‍♂️
Scott *******
Werner Heisenberg No, it says 6 months of transactions AND an account balance of 500k baht. Vietnam has always required documentation showing 6 months of transaction history, even for basic tourist visa.

That’s not exactly what it says. Transactions from the last 6 months and the amount totaling 500k is what it says.

you are confusing me, everyone says on here 500k one day before is fine

But you say the opposite

it depends on the consulate / embassy.

Basically what they want to know is that you haven't had merely 10 baht in this account for 2 years and then suddenly pop it up to 500k, so I think having 270k over the last 3 4 5 6 months is going to be fine if you top it up on the last day or so.
