TLDR : Answer Summary
The discussion revolves around whether a deposit of 500,000 THB made just one day before applying for a visa in Thailand will be accepted. Contributors shared mixed experiences, noting that recent deposits could be problematic without sufficient historical balance in the account. One user indicated that having a substantial amount (like 270,000 THB) in the account for a few months, topped up by the required amount closer to the application date, could still be acceptable. Others reported successful applications despite recent deposits.
Werner Heisenberg No, it says 6 months of transactions AND an account balance of 500k baht. Vietnam has always required documentation showing 6 months of transaction history, even for basic tourist visa.
Basically what they want to know is that you haven't had merely 10 baht in this account for 2 years and then suddenly pop it up to 500k, so I think having 270k over the last 3 4 5 6 months is going to be fine if you top it up on the last day or so.
