TLDR : Answer Summary
The general consensus among commenters is that having the required 500,000 baht spread across different bank accounts is permissible for visa applications in Thailand. However, it's recommended to confirm with the specific embassy or immigration office, as practices may vary. Some users suggest consolidating funds into one account to simplify the application process, while others report success with funds from multiple banks. Note that cryptocurrency accounts are not accepted; only traditional bank funds are valid.

Scenario: if you had 450k in your account on your last statement- but have well over 500k now, do you have to wait for your next statement (approx dec 15) to apply? Or can you show a screenshot or atm receipt? Considering Taipei, Jakarta or Vietnam. Thanks 🙏

Anonymous participant 233 you could ask your bank for a statement as at today. Some Aussie banks allow online requests and send within a day or two

I don't think there is any requirement for the funds to be in a singular account. But as always every application point will make their own rules.

Some embassies are ok with that. You need to confirm it is ok with the embassy you will apply from.
