Applied for soft power dtv in Jakata, Indonesia. Pending approval for 7 working days and no single request for additional documents. And got outright rejected on 8th working day. No questions and no reasons.
I used an agency that is well known. The agent said my documents are strong and i am a good candidate. But i only submitted 1 month seasoning of 500k before applying because i saw in this group that most people only seasoned 500k for just one month and got their dtv approved. The average balance in six months is about 300k.
I also had a language school visa before. No idea what was the issue, my past visa or the bank statement. It is awful that there is no reasoning. Don’t remind me they don’t give reasons. I know. It’s just disgusting.
Edited: applied for Muay Thai soft power (6-month course) . I’m a Myanmar Nationality. I do have regular income from my own business in Myanmar for which i submitted the scans of original business licenses and notarized versions.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user describes their experience of applying for a soft power DTV visa in Jakarta, Indonesia, which resulted in an outright rejection after 8 working days with no reason provided. They note that they submitted a 1-month bank statement with 500,000 THB, believing this was sufficient based on others' experiences. However, they express frustration at not knowing the cause of the rejection and mention applying for a Muay Thai course instead. Comments from the community suggest that stricter regulations now require more robust bank statements, specifically three months of 500,000 THB seasoning.
I believe it was because of the 500k, not your ED visa. In other posts recently Jakarta stated they want 500k seasoned for 3 months.
When you re apply, provide 6 months of bank statements and 3 months with the 500k. If you have a savings account and a current / daily transaction account then provide both (6 months).
Seems they are getting very strict now, shame it happened to you
if your student visa in your current passport then this can be reason. If not this cant be reason they dont see it on record. And if they see it and you are from Myanmar your passport also can be problem.Another problem is 1 month is very few must be 3 or more months in your bank account then this will be strong account. There is no other reason except these
