Wife is going as my dependent and they said to apply for her after mine has been approved.
That's been almost a month now and still no reply.
Anyone else experience this?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user reports that their dependent visa (DTV) application for their wife has not received a response after a month, despite their own approval taking only 12 days. Comments from the community suggest checking the intended date of arrival mentioned in the application, reviewing the processing times on the embassy's website, and contacting the relevant authorities for status updates. Others share their experiences of quicker processing times for dependent visas in different locations.
I just applied for my wife at Hanoi last week and it only took a couple of days. Go to the embassy and make a formal request of status. One month seems a lot of time
check with them at the embassy if they are not helpful let the lesson and move on. I would fly to asia and complete the process ar a neighbord country. At the moment Hanoi and Jalarta have expedited processes for the DTV IF YOU SEND THE RIGHT PAPERWORK. Hope this helps 🙏

What did you mention as her intended date of arrival? Do they mention an average processing time on their website?
You can try to contact them, since it's been a month already, as long as you've been waiting longer than their processing time. Depending on the embassy/consulate: by e-mail, phone, messenger, line...
Intended arrival date has either passed or is imminent: I would contact them, politely asking if there is a problem or if they need anything, mentioning your travel plans. There's no way to know how they work, so it could mean anything that they're late, from having concerns and checking carefully the application to the application having gone down the drain, and everything in between.
You wrote "they said to apply for her after mine has been approved"...
Every embassy/consulate has an e-mail address. Some do not reply to e-mails. Every embassy/consulate has a phone number. Some do not answer the phone. In this case, look for other channels like FB messenger, Line App, etc.
