Wife is going as my dependent and they said to apply for her after mine has been approved.
That's been almost a month now and still no reply.
Anyone else experience this?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user reports that their DTV was approved in 12 days, but they have been waiting almost a month for their wife's dependent visa approval. Responses from the community suggest that processing times can vary, with some users receiving quicker approvals. It's advised to check on the average processing times provided by the embassy or consulate and to contact them for status updates if waiting longer than expected.
I just applied for my wife at Hanoi last week and it only took a couple of days. Go to the embassy and make a formal request of status. One month seems a lot of time
check with them at the embassy if they are not helpful let the lesson and move on. I would fly to asia and complete the process ar a neighbord country. At the moment Hanoi and Jalarta have expedited processes for the DTV IF YOU SEND THE RIGHT PAPERWORK. Hope this helps 🙏

What did you mention as her intended date of arrival? Do they mention an average processing time on their website?
You can try to contact them, since it's been a month already, as long as you've been waiting longer than their processing time. Depending on the embassy/consulate: by e-mail, phone, messenger, line...
Intended arrival date has either passed or is imminent: I would contact them, politely asking if there is a problem or if they need anything, mentioning your travel plans. There's no way to know how they work, so it could mean anything that they're late, from having concerns and checking carefully the application to the application having gone down the drain, and everything in between.
You wrote "they said to apply for her after mine has been approved"...
Every embassy/consulate has an e-mail address. Some do not reply to e-mails. Every embassy/consulate has a phone number. Some do not answer the phone. In this case, look for other channels like FB messenger, Line App, etc.
