TLDR : Answer Summary
A user inquired about their visitor visa application submitted on February 24, noting that it's still in processing. They reached out to the consulate but received no response. Community comments revealed various insights, including that 10 days is relatively short for visa processing—many embassies advise waiting at least 15 working days. Suggestions ranged from contacting the Thai Visa Center for assistance to exploring communication via official channels like Facebook Messenger, as responses may be quicker through social media. The discussion also touched upon specific details regarding visa status and additional fees.

I also applied for a visa on 25th February and am still waiting for approval; the portal shows “Pending documents review”.

I have tried calling them and sent multiple emails.

I have a confirmed ticket for 19th March.

Please help me out.

I applied from Saudi Arabia.

how would you pay anything under the table when applying online through the e-visa system, and the embassy itself does not allow you to enter? A slice of bread would give us better advice than you just did

That's only 10 working days ago.

I don't know a single embassy that advises less than 15 working days, and many say longer than that for visa processing.

Many embassies are also still on extended processing due to the end of high season and the aftermath of the Thai election.

Okay, cool. So that means they are taking more than 10 days. Will it be processed before the travel departure date?

Do you mean a Tourist Visa and which Consulate serves the country you are applying from? What is the visa status on your dashboard, pending document check or pending approval?

Greg Alexander It's not me suggesting he contact an agent! That's a pointless exercise. Sam Waziri, what is your nationality and proposed date of arrival in Thailand? With more information you might get better responses

Michael Fallow a Thailand based agent has no better means to contact a Thai consulate abroad than the applicant himself. So WHAT makes you think a Thailand based agent will be of great help with an application to an E-Visa in Saudi Arabia?
