Hey guys

Based on your personal experience, how long did it take to receive visa approval once the status was “pending approval”?

Is it still possible to get rejected at this point?

Thank you.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The time taken for visa approval after the status changes to 'pending approval' varies significantly among applicants. Responses shared in the community reflect a range of experiences, with some receiving approval in as little as 45 minutes while others waited up to 2 business days. It is crucial to understand that even in the 'pending approval' stage, there is still a possibility of rejection, as the final decision rests with the Consular Officer.

45 minutes for me. Actually I was approved in 45 minutes after submitting the application.

As you can see from the various answers, the timing is personal. And add in other variables: Consulate office. Different categories (workcation v soft power). How clear is the application etc.

The status of my application also changed to 'Pending Approval' yesterday. I'm on the edge of my seat with my fingers crossed, but trying to keep on reminding myself it still could take a while to find out whether it's approved or rejected.

No right answer to this 🤦🏻‍♂️.

Anything is possible from acceptance to rejection to document check to more documents requested.

All the best to you 🤞🏻

Yes, still possible to be rejected. It is now at approval stage waiting for the decision by Consular Officer.
