I was do to get my 1 year non-o extension tomorrow, Did the interview with my kids and a witness on Tuesday.

The Chiang Mai immigration just called me and told me to wait till the 30th before I come in, they told me that I should not worry, even though my passport says to come by the 25th, I will not be on overstay.

They said they are having issues with covid-19 and that was the reason for the delay.

Anyone out there experiencing similar issues?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is experiencing a delay in their Non-O visa extension appointment originally scheduled for the 25th, following a call from the Chiang Mai immigration office instructing them to wait until the 30th. The immigration office attributed the delay to issues related to COVID-19. Other commenters shared their experiences with similar delays and reassured the user that they should not worry about overstaying their visa during this time.

You're FINE, we're seeing a LOT of the offices not getting the paperwork back within the under consideration stamp date AND believe it or not that 30 day under consideration is actually the first month of your new yearly extension so you're totally fine..

Thanks for the prompt. IF immigration is telling you not to go in, but instead on the 30th, I suppose that's when you'll come in. You did get the name of the person you spoke to, correct?
