For those of you who have been asked to show all the pages of your passport for the DTV at HCMC or Hanoi, is this because you have ticket yes for “have you applied for a visa in Thailand before” and “have you visited Thailand before”?

Second part of this is have any of you applied via the workcation route and been on ED visas prior to this when sending this to the embassy, for example ED visa ending/cancelled and then going that route?

Wondering if that’s an issue.

Thanks in advance and I’m sure I’m asking on behalf of many in this group.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The requirement to show all pages of your passport during the DTV application process in HCMC or Hanoi may be related to your previous visa applications or visits to Thailand. Some users reported that even after declaring prior visa history and visits, they were not asked to provide all passport pages, suggesting the requirement might not apply uniformly. Additionally, those who have previously held an ED visa typically apply from outside Thailand after the visa is canceled upon departure.

ED is canceled once you leave the country without getting a re-entry permit. And then you would apply in a different country, not while in thailand. I did it this way and no issue.
