Hi everyone, should a foreigner need to travel out of and back into Thailand for a new visa in the current COVID situation, does anyone know a nearby country that doesn't have lots of COVID related requirements? (fully vaccinated if that helps) . Thanks in advance π

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user inquires about nearby countries with fewer COVID-related travel restrictions for obtaining a new visa. The community suggests Cambodia as the easiest option currently, while Malaysia is expected to return to normal travel by April 1, albeit with some testing requirements in place. Further details on visa types and specific travel plans could enhance the advice provided.
we live in interesting times is perhaps overused at this point in COVID. I've been in and out of Malaysia multiple times, last time was August 2018 to get the start of my current Non-Imm B (BOI) visa.
The thing I miss the most - is not being able to go anywhere internationally, at least easily. Living in Chiang Mai, being able to go internationally on even 3-5 days holidays direct before COVID was fantastic. Malaysia, Vietnam, mainland China as examples. Hopefully, those days will come back again.
