I am Brazilian and I am in Thailand for the first time and would like to know how to renew my visa in an economical way. I have some questions mentioned below:
Using Visa-Run
1) Which neighboring country are open without the need for quarantine in ASQ hotel?
2) How many days do I have to stay in the neighboring country before I can return to Thailand and receive a new stamp?
3) I am fully vaccinated against covid-19, do I need to quarantine in ASQ hotel again when I return?
Covid-Extension
4) Do I need to hire a specialized office to have the 2 month extension or can I do it myself? How to proceed? I live in Samut Prakan.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user, a Brazilian expat in Thailand, is seeking economical ways to renew their visa and has questions about visa runs and Covid-related extension processes. Responses indicate that currently, neighboring countries are not open for tourism without quarantine, making traditional visa runs impractical. The suggestion is to apply for a Covid-19 extension, which is manageable without needing a specialized service, albeit caution is advised regarding the local immigration office's reputation.
>1) Which neighboring country are open without the need for quarantine in ASQ hotel?
None. NO bordering countries are currently open for tourism.
>How many days do I have to stay in the neighboring country before I can return to Thailand and receive a new stamp?
If a country re-opens, you can enter the foreign country and return the same day. This is called "border bouncing". Remeber, you get a 90 day stamp on entry
>I am fully vaccinated against covid-19, do I need to quarantine in ASQ hotel again when I return?
We don't know.
>Do I need to hire a specialized office to have the 2 month extension or can I do it myself? How to proceed? I live in Samut Prakan.
That's the worse immigration office you can use for a 60 day extension of stay based on unable to travel due to COVID-19. The last day you can apply is November 26, 2021
