Any advice for the fastest place to get an METV visa near Thailand? (Laos, Cambodia etc)

I tried to apply in London after seeing all the new visa info suddenly changing, but was rejected as my flight was less than 15 days away (£150 well spent).

Will have to land and get 60 days now while it's still available, then sort it out.

I’m under the impression that METV from thai embassy in Laos is only available to Laos nationals and Laos passport holders

The only 2 places I've heard that it's even possible are Laos and Vietnam. You used to not be able to get an METV anywhere except your home country, but within the last few months there are reports that you can get it in both Laos and Vietnam. I wouldn't try anywhere else as there have not been any reports from there.

Did they actually reject it on the basis your flight was in 15 days. Doesnt make sense why they would do that
