My wife and I applied from Bali at the Jakarta Embassy.
Thanks to all the information found in this group, it all went smoothly.
My wife (British) applied as the main applicant as a remote worker (our business is under her name).
We provided:
* Location: boarding pass, card on arrival, grab receipt from the airport to our Airbnb, Airbnb reservation.
* Finances: 3 months of bank statements (from a Wise account).
* Work: documents about the LLC + 6 months of contracts and invoices showing regular work with multiple clients outside of Thailand.
Applied on October 15th, approved on the 24th.
I (French) then applied as a dependent/spouse.
We provided:
* Location: same, with a newer Gojek receipt from the day I applied.
* Marriage certificate + translation.
* Finances: same bank statements + a letter from my wife stating that the money is for the both of us.
Applied on the 24th, approved on November 4th.
I used ChatGPT to write some things for each section.
Thank you for everyone here for the precious information which made our applications smooth and easy!

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user successfully shared their experience applying for a Digital Nomad Visa (DTV) for remote work in Thailand, detailing the process for both the main applicant (British spouse) and the dependent (French spouse). The application was made from Bali at the Jakarta Embassy, highlighting important documents provided, the timeline of approval, and helpful advice for others undergoing the same process.
A couple of hours prior to receiving it, it was marked as pending review, then I got the email... I didn't get a notification for the change of status in between.
I'm currently in Vietnam Hanoi city with my husband. We are waiting for his October bank statement so we can then push the send button and get things rolling. Fingers crossed it goes quickly and we get approved.
You may have to show PROOF of your DTV Visa to airline staff on check-in for your flight ✈️ to Thailand...even to the connecting airline staff. Or to the land border crossing entry Thai Immigration Officer.
Upon arrival into Thailand, show the DTV visa to the Thai Immigration Officer and look at the STAMP placed in your passport to be sure you are STAMPED in for 180 days.
Aung Zay Ya both time I submitted late at night, and we received the email in the afternoon. I believe the embassy only work Monday to Friday. So for us it took 6 working days for my wife, and 7 working days for me.
