Second time arrived to DMK on DTV. Zero questions asked, stamp and bye. Saw zero people being grilled and waited around 20 mins.

Please don't worry too much about what you read on this group especially from new users.

Internet breeds more fear than what’s happening. you will notice more issues than success stories. Not because of reality but human nature

You got a visa, you shouldn't be asked any questions.

wrong. You absolutely can be questioned with a visa

there's a difference between shouldn't be and won't be isn't there.

I was about to email my original issuing embassy and asking if I can use visa free entry and not lose the DTV as I don't want to risk being arrested entering via DTV. And I expect within two years they'll stop brutalizing tourists to the same degree as the hate march going on right now

you are far more likely to be 'brutalised' without a visa than with one. They know you have a visa whether you print it out and give it to them or not anyway. I'm sure over 99% of people on a DTV are entering without issue. The ones who have issues probably have some red flags about their visa and travel history also.
