Second time arrived to DMK on DTV. Zero questions asked, stamp and bye. Saw zero people being grilled and waited around 20 mins.

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user shared their smooth arrival experience at DMK Airport with a DTV visa, mentioning they faced zero questions and received their stamp quickly. They advised others not to worry excessively about negative accounts from new users in a community group. Commenters discussed concerns about visa regulations, sharing experiences of waiting around and reflecting on how the internet can amplify fears rather than provide an accurate picture of reality.
I was about to email my original issuing embassy and asking if I can use visa free entry and not lose the DTV as I don't want to risk being arrested entering via DTV. And I expect within two years they'll stop brutalizing tourists to the same degree as the hate march going on right now
you are far more likely to be 'brutalised' without a visa than with one. They know you have a visa whether you print it out and give it to them or not anyway. I'm sure over 99% of people on a DTV are entering without issue. The ones who have issues probably have some red flags about their visa and travel history also.
