Has anyone heard or DTV holders being interrogated upon re entry at Suvarnabhumi international airport, being asked to show 20k baht in cash, etc., or all smooth reentry stories? It will be my fourth entry on DTV and I know visa waiver folks are getting a lot of trouble with repeat entries - haven't heard stories like that of DTV holders yet, but wondering if anyone has. Thanks :)

TLDR : Answer Summary
The conversation discusses the experiences of DTV visa holders upon re-entry to Thailand, specifically at Suvarnabhumi Airport. The user inquires whether such individuals face interrogations or requests for cash upon arrival, similar to issues reported for visa waiver visitors. Responses indicate that DTV holders generally do not report significant problems during re-entry, though some caution that experiences may vary by airport. There are mentions of financial proof requirements for visa holders, emphasizing the amount needed in a bank account rather than cash on hand.
Look on the actual DTV group on Facebook for lots of first hand accounts of entries that both had and didn't have issues at various airports. This group doesn't allow me to tag another group so you'll have to search for it in Facebook groups.
