Just got a 60 day Covid visa today. I know they’re supposedly ending January 20-something. But when do we know if they’re extending it again? Just sometime before that date or what? Have they already released some info??

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user inquired about the extension of the 60-day Covid visa in Thailand, which they received, and its expiration date, noting the uncertainty surrounding future announcements. The responses indicate that the final date for the current visa is January 25th, and past experiences suggest that announcements regarding extensions are typically made 1-3 days prior to expiration. Another user expressed a belief that an extension may occur, citing low tourism numbers as a motivator for the government.

My guess is - they'll extend again. Why? incoming tourist numbers have plummeted. They want people here spending money on the island.
They usually announce 1-3 days before the existing program expires if they will extend it.
If they don't extend it they won't announce it, they just won't extend.

Around January 20, probably the 22nd or thereabouts.

No

Last date is 25th January. Whether that will be extended is debatable but generally they don’t announce it until a few days before (going by past history).
