TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is currently on a study visa (ED Visa) through a school in Pattaya, which will expire in November 2023. They are seeking advice on potential options for visas after their current one ends. There is mention of an unofficial business visa that costs about 60,000 THB, but the user is looking for other suggestions. Additionally, a comment highlights the uncertainty in planning due to potential immigration policy changes.
It's actually quite difficult to plan that far ahead because we don't know what immigration crackdowns will happen or what laws might change between now and then. The business visa may not be an option at all like the volunteer visas now.
you can do that?... apply for a 2nd ED after current ends? Need to check with the school bout that, i do know they have a language course for German as well so if it's possible then yea i would definitely go that route, thanks for pointing that out man. Cheers
- yes you can do. My cambodian girlfried did this a few years back and yes can change languages so long as school has classes. Worth checking with your school.
Point taken, Guess only time will tell, not really fretting over it as i know theirs always going to be an illegal way to get a visa but it would be nice to know the options beforehand.. Cheers Brandon.
