Good morning. After a long and arduous process, I am finally a member of the work permit club. (Yay)
I am slightly confused about the ongoing requirements and dates thereof. I now have a stamp in my passport 06/12/17 till 01/11/18 but I know I have to do 90 days reporting.
I had assumed (wrongfully again) that they would put the date for my 90 day report in my passport.
My questions are, do I just work out the dates myself and if I leave the country does it affect the dates of my 90 day reporting?
Thanks in advance

TLDR : Answer Summary
This post discusses the confusion surrounding the 90-day reporting requirement after obtaining a work permit in Thailand. The original poster is unsure how to determine the reporting dates and whether leaving the country impacts these dates. Responses clarify that the 90-day reporting starts after the issuance date of the work permit and that leaving Thailand pauses the reporting timeline, restarting it upon re-entry into the country.
90 DAY REPORTING RESOURCES / SERVICES
Use the trusted Thailand 90 Day Reporting Serviceto get your in-person report done and mailed to you for as low as 375 THB (even if the online system doesn't work for you).
For immediate assistance, contact Thai Visa Centre directly via LINE at @ThaiVisaCentre or Email them.
When you go to do your first 90 day report, it puts you in the data base and then IF your immigration office participates in it you can use the online 90 day report program after that.
I dunno whether Phuket is accepting 90 day online reports or not. :/
Tod. I know 3 on Non O retirement extensions and not one has ever done a 90 Day report. All have renewed their extensions without questions asked. Do you think this maybe because they were never on the data base to begin with?
, when you come back on your arrival card you DON'T write the visa extension number. Write the number of the re-entry permit. AND when they stamp you in make sure you're stamped in until 1 Nov 2018. :)
Lol my phone is wrong. Sometimes I accidentally react to stuff just to remove the reaction a second later. Seems like that second was too long this time and I got caught :D.
Unless you've already been doing 90 day reporting on a different extension, your first 90 day report would be due 90 days from the 6th of December (the day you got your extension)
