I have a 6-month METV multientry visa, but I read that it is valid from the moment the visa is issued.
I don't know so because the other times the 180 days started the moment I entered Thailand,What do you think?

TLDR : Answer Summary
A 6-month METV (Multiple Entry Tourist Visa) is valid from the moment it is issued, according to community responses. While the visa allows entry into Thailand, the duration of stay begins from the entry stamp, not the visa issue date. Users mentioned that one can tactically manage entries to extend the stay, but the visa's lifespan is different from the allowed duration of stay upon each entry.
The visa gets you into the country. The entry stamp allows you to stay. Don't confuse the two, many people do

it goes live the moment they stick it in your passport...but don't worry you can still get 9 months out of the METV with tactical border bounces...good luck and get to Thailand ASAP

As Garrett says, valid from day of issue. However, remember the visa can expire and you can remain in the country past that time. If you enter on the final day of the visa's life you will still get stamped in for 60 days and can extend that my another 30. The fact the visa has expired at that point means nothing, unless you wish to re-enter the country again

All Thai visas are valid from yhe day they're issued. If you had a METV in the past, it was also valid the day it was issued.
Visa validity and your stay in Thailand time are 2 different things. A METV gets you 60 days of stay per entry, regardless if you enter on the same day the visa was issued, or the very last day the visa is valid for, you get stamped in for 60 days.
