TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking advice on when they can return to Thailand after a 28-day visit, having just returned to Australia. Community comments affirm that as long as the user does not overstay and maintains a genuine tourist status, they can return anytime, preferably with a multi-entry tourist visa to avoid issues with frequent trips.

Yes. Best practice is to get a Multi-entry tourist visa if you plan to make frequent trips in a calendar year. Thailand is cracking down on use of the

tourist visa for multiple trips in a calendar year. It's a lot less hassle anyway.

Paul Marley mate trust me . You may not have any money problems but be vary careful in Thailand! Money can start to disappear quite quickly, especially if there are any girls involved

Paul Marley in that case, as soon as you're ready m8. You fall in to the category of tourist with short visits. For example, I work 4 weeks out of the country and go to Thailand for 2 weeks on my break. Never a problem. 2 weeks in every six. I have been there 4 months and 2 months this least year also. Enjoy 😁

Yes you ok 👍

You’re well within 60 days .

Came back to Australia.

Then went back.

You can do it many times .

As long as you don’t do visa extensions multiple times .

If both of your trips were less than 30 days you should have no problem

Colin Chaffers I would think he’s done below 60 days which is fine.

No extensions or no multiple border runs .

He is ok 👍

Paul Marley if your a genuine tourist, there is no limit, but practise no one does 12 visits a year.

If you extend your trips with extension and border runs your quite quickly get the attention of immigration.

In there eyes someone who has a return ticket to their home country, accommodation booked and 20kthb is what their looking for. But ultimately, the immigration officer will decide.
