Hello, just wanna share my last visa run experience in Vientiane. Very easy and smooth procedure. As I have kids, I needed to have a copy of the birth certificate of the kids + a copy of my credicard (both not asked on the list of documents on the website of the Thai embassy in Laos). Would recommend Vientiane for a visa run.
