Should I specify a family visit in my Thai tourist visa application from Bahrain or simply tick the tourist option?

I'm applying for a tourist visa in Bahrain in an attempt to ensure I can gain entry into Thailand next month as my girlfriend is due to have our third baby. Normally I just arrive on visa exempt and I have 4 visa exempt entries on my current passport.

My question is, in the box below would it be a good idea to tick "other" and specify that I'll be visiting my children and also attach their birth certificates with the visa application? Or just mention nothing and keep it as tourist?

I can't go to my home country to get it. I'll be getting married this visit, so I'll bounce across to Laos for the 1 year multi marriage visa

It cost me a fortune because the lawyer was from Udon and dealing with the Amphur in Suwwanakhuha and the family court in Nong Bua Lam Phu. I think it came to about 30,000 all together for 2 kids and travel for us and the lawyer etc.

You can go through Thai Family Courts and get parental rights for your half Thai kids Ash.

I did it for my two girls earlier this year.

Just being the father doesn't grant you any rights to your kids in Thailand.

You can easily get the O visa in Laos if you supply birth certificates and proof of parentage.

90 day O visa to visit your children. Easy. Better than endless tourist visas in current climate.
