Good news, today my Thai Pass arrived and tonight my visa has been approved(I applied on 2nd Nov) so if like me you were beggining to panic there is no need. Just make sure you have sent them all the info they need, sha+hotel, insurance, proof of accomadation, recent pic etc. I believe if you have sent the wrong docs they will get back to you just bear in mind they are very busy.

Emirates insurance is valid from departure till return up to 365 days. Emirates are only offering this free automatic cover to all ticket purchases till end Nov. 2021. After that you have to buy insurance. You have to apply to Emirates AIG to get individual insurance certificates to upload for Thai Pass.

@Gerald *******
thank you.

Hope you purchased the STV visa required insurance for your entire planned stay...of up to 9 months ...270 days.

Or that your insurance can be extended when you seek a 3 month extension.
