Can I apply for the Thai pass now even if my STV visa hasn't been approved yet? (I submitted the application on the 28th of this month). 2 questions 1 is the above and 2 how long does it usually take for the STV visa to be accepted?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The Thai Pass application is a separate process from the STV visa application, meaning you can apply for it even if your STV visa is still pending approval. It typically takes about 15 working days for the STV visa to be accepted. However, keep in mind that the Thai Pass only relates to medical clearance for entry amid the pandemic and does not guarantee legal entry into Thailand, as visa applications and entry permissions are separate issues.

Hey guys they have just come back and said they need confirmed hotel booking for 90 days with proof of payment ... I have got aq for 10 days and then booked 78 days for my accom with return plane flying out (changeable) on the 88th day. Also asked for utility bill which I don't have is there any other way? stressed!
I thought they accepted bank statement? They’re only wanting proof that you have money and ties to your home country and therefore don’t intend to stay there beyond your visa. As for paid accommodation, I don’t get that because people freely move around, booking as they go 🤷🏻♀️ I would have thought return flights would be the most important requirement tbh

Thanks guys, left 28 days from application until I set off so I should be okay then. :)

The thai pass is only medical clearance to enter Thailand related to the pandemic , it doesn’t guarantee anything about being legally allowed to enter by immigration , so any visa applications are separate entirely.
