DTV arrival: Landed at Don Mueang today coming from Da Nang Vietnam. First time using the DTV. Was hassle free. Immigration officer asked me no questions. I gave my passport printed evisa and boarding ticket, got the stamp and on my way.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The post details a first-time experience using the DTV (Digital Nomad Visa) upon arrival at Don Mueang Airport from Vietnam. The traveler reports a smooth process without any questions from immigration, simply providing their printed e-visa and boarding ticket to receive the stamp. However, commenters highlight the importance of checking the stamp for the correct duration, as there have been issues with incorrect stamps, and show support for the traveler's successful visa acquisition.

and did you check your stamp to make sure you got stamped in for 180 days when they handed it back to you? There has been a rash of "bad stamps" where even though people handed over the PDF with the DTV in it they got a 60 day free entry stamp

OK, good to know. A couple of inquisitive questions are alright. It's when they start making it sound like you've done something wrong that it's time to worry.

Congratulations 👏👏👏

I see you obtained the DTV visa from Cambodia Thai Embassy in Phnom Penh. ✅

NOT at All. Just sharing the course information which succeeded in getting the DTV visa for Robby Clark. That's what this forum is about... sharing information.

And not all Thai Embassy's and Consulates are granting the DTV Visa for this course.

That's why I say...be sure to use a Thai Embassy or Consulate where it's known to have issued the DTV visa for this course..ASK THE COURSE SPONSOR.

SAME FOR MUAY THAI DTV Visa...

Not all Thai Embassy's and Consulates are issuing the DTV Visa for Muay Thai training.

The Washington DC Thai Consulate in recent days is not issuing the DTV visa for Muay Thai training.

Instead, they are offering to issue a METV multiple entry tourist visa for use in Muay Thai training for 6 months, as the paid course submitted for the DTV visa is only for 6 months.
