Can anyone recommend a straightforward way to extend our 30 day visa exemptions somehow extended another 30 days visa in Bangkok?

Also guys can anyone tell me if APEC cards are actually useful anymore? I stupidly entered without using it and I now realise I might have been able to get myself a 90 day exemption with it. It's been a long time since I travelled so forgot to drop it at immigration!

Thanks for the help!

TLDR : Answer Summary
You can extend your 30-day visa exemption by visiting the Muang Thong Thani Immigration Office in Bangkok. Note that the APEC card would have allowed for a 90-day exemption upon entry, but it is not useful for extensions once you're in the country.

In Bangkok you go to the Muang Thong Thani Immigration office to file for a 30 day extension on an 30 day visa exempt you do not go to the mail immigration office at Chaengwattana.

Yep you could have used an APEC card to get stamped in for 90 days, so remember it next time you come back into thailand. It's worthless INSIDE the country for anything extension wise though now 🙁
