Hi, my question please if I may.

Myself and partner are coming to Thailand December 7th then leave for Vietnam and Cambodia on 6th January (=31day)for about 3weeks then back to Thailand until February 26th. A little confused as to what visa we need. Both British.

Thanks

Answer summary

The query is about visa requirements for a British couple traveling to Thailand, Vietnam, and Cambodia. They plan to enter Thailand on a visa exempt entry, potentially for 60 days, and are considering a 30-day extension if necessary. They also inquire about the Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) for their entry. Suggestions include applying for a multi-entry tourist visa before traveling or extending their stay through local immigration offices if the visa exempt period is reduced.

Thank you very much, I thought I had read it was changing back to 30days.

As Tod said but if the authorities change the 60 visa exempt back to the original 30 days, which is the subject of discussion ATM, you can get the 30 day visa exempt entry and extend by 30 days at your local immigration office for 1900 baht each or you can both apply for a 6 month multi entry tourist visa (METV) in UK before you travel and that would cover both your trips to Thailand.

You two as brit passport holders can show up to thailand and get stamped in for 60 days free on the visa exempt entry program.

You will need to file a TDAC (Thailand Digital Arrival Card) which you can do from 3 days before your arrival here right on down to when you arrive

This is the website for the TDAC
