Asking for some advice,

I'm want to renew my 5 year Thai driver license for another 5 years. I was told By a visa agent here in Pattaya, I would need a one year non immigrant O, or I can do it with a 90 day education visa!

I never heard of a ninty day education visa!

What visa do you have now. You only need a certificate of residency, either from immigration, or from your embassy. The medical certificate. Your passport, and a copy of the data page. You have to understand that a visa agent can be telling you things simply to sell you an unneeded visa, as that is how they make money, no matter how truthful they might sound.

I'm on a 60 day tourist visa. In order to get a five year renewal I need a 90 day non immigrant or a one year non immigrant. Since the non immigrant ED visa is the easiest to get inside Thailand, this option was offered to me.

not sure why you would spend tens of thousands of baht to renew your license, as an ED visa through an agent, or a ligitimate school, is not free.

Education visa is Non immigrant ED and is usually (for language school) valid for 90 days renewable on extension each time for a further 90 days up to a year at which time you need a new visa or a different category of extension such as marriage or retirement
