Hi all, regarding "document indicating current location", I assume that means a utility bill/bank statement or something similar? I don't have anything with a proof of address as I dont have a permanent address. Does that immediately disquailfy me from applying?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The post discusses the requirements for proving current location when applying for a visa, particularly in cases where the applicant does not have a fixed address. Various comments explain that acceptable documents vary by embassy and location. Common suggestions include using hotel bookings, entry stamps, or a friend's address instead of traditional proof of address documents like utility bills. The importance of specifying the embassy involved in the application process is also emphasized, as requirements can differ significantly.
Hi all, thanks for replies. I'm actually in Canada now, but have a UK passport (haven't lived in UK since I was a kid) so I was hoping to apply from here. I'm just staying with friends here for a few weeks.
Current location is where you are applying from usually they request the entry stamp photo to prove your current location which should match the place you’re applying from
It depends. Where will you apply from? Some embassies, notable in South East Asia, accept hotel bookings and/or selfies as proof of current location. Where would you apply from?
