Is a bank statement and ID sufficient proof of current location for my visa application, and what can I provide for my kids?

Hello. I have just applied for the DTV and when I was asked for current location proof (I apply from my homecountry) I put bills, bank statement with adress and national id. Will it be enough?

What is possible to apply for my kids as a proof of location? They haven't any id and the adress isn't written in the passport...

Thank you for your help🙏

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user has applied for a DTV visa from their home country and wants to know if providing bills, a bank statement with their address, and a national ID is sufficient proof of location. They also seek advice on what documentation can be provided for their children, who do not have IDs and whose address is not listed in their passports. Community responses indicate that the provided documentation is generally adequate, with suggestions including additional documents like birth certificates or a letter attesting to guardianship as proof of residency for children.

For my kids, I wrote a letter stating that as their mother and legal guardian they live with me. I listed my address and attached it to my proof of location/residence that I had submitted for mine. All into one pdf and then uploaded it. They didn’t ask for anything else in that area. (They did come back and ask for other additional documents, like flights and a notarized letter from my husband that the children were allowed to travel with me to Thailand)

thank you very much!

They did ask for flight number only or the tickets? Because there was no place to put the tickets in...

@Julie *****
in the portal it only asks for flight number, they came back to me via email requesting the flights, and they wanted the booked itinerary showing all our names and flights (to Thailand, they did not ask for any return flights in my case) btw this was the Washington DC embassy.
