I want to visit Thailand for 5 weeks, starting Dec 9, what kind of Visa do I need to apply for?

And, do I need to prebook a corona test for my arrival or do they have a walk in on arrival system?

The new ThailandPass system is way too new to confirm details, but from what we’ve seen so far the hotel package you book includes the Covid test. If arriving in Phuket it’s done at the airport. Elsewhere I’m not sure of the procedure.

Depends a lot what country you’re from. If eligible you can get a visa exempt entry which would give you 30 days + a 30 day extension, or you could buy a tourist visa that would give you 60 days on entry, also extendable for a further 30 days.
