TLDR : Answer Summary
The Thailand Pass and visa application processes are separate. If you are traveling for more than 30 days, you will need to obtain a visa, as the Thailand Pass alone does not cover your full stay. Travelers from certain countries may be eligible for a 30-day visa exemption upon arrival, but for a 60-day stay, applying for a tourist visa is necessary to avoid issues, especially concerning onward travel requirements.

You will need a visa or risk being denied boarding without onward travel within the 30 days

Visas are separate to the pass, different things. For uk and some other countries citizens there's the option to arrived get 30 day visa exempt and you can extend in country.

TP and visas have nothing to do with each other. Looks like you'll need a visa

You may have trouble flying out without a visa. Your only allowed 30 days tourist visa.

thats not a visa. That's visa exempt option where you come from a country thats allowed to enter for 30 days without a visa.

Lynnette Never the less he's looking to stay over 30 days so he'll probably need a visa unless he can get an extension but the airlines might give him a hard time without the 60 day visa.
