TLDR : Answer Summary
The user seeks clarification on the application process for a volunteer visa in Thailand, particularly concerning their child who holds a tourist visa. Comments indicate that if the user applies for a Non-Immigrant O visa for volunteering, the child can apply for a Non-Immigrant O visa as a dependent. Additionally, it is noted that the invitation letter from the organization will facilitate this process.

Your organisation will "add" dependents to your foundation invitation/notary letter and your dependents will also get non O visa as your dependent when you apply for your visa outside Thailand.

If you apply for a Non Immigrant O visa for Volunteer, you son needs to apply for a Non Immigrant O visa as your dependent.

Visa application done at Embassy or Consulate (outside Thailand), most of them only give you Single Entry so you get 90 Days Admitted to Stay. 30 days before that last day you can apply for Extension of Stay at local Immigration.

If you change to non b,as a volunteer then I believe your son would change to non o, as family dependent. I would wait for a more experienced response.

Visa for volunteer is a Non Immigrant O visa not a Non Immigrant B (Business) visa.
