TLDR : Answer Summary
To stay in Thailand for more than 3 months, you should consider applying for a Non-Immigrant visa, which allows an initial stay of 90 days that can potentially be extended. Qualifying for this visa should be based on work, marriage, retirement, or other specific conditions. Additionally, ensure to check if there are any tax fees involved beyond the visa fee.

You would need to go get a tourist visa from a thai consulate in another country. That would get you stamped in for 60 days..

As far as a Non-Immigrant visa you would have to qualify for one, based on work, marriage, being over 50, raising children, etc.

Ae San Dar. You will need documentation from the school/organization where you are going to work/volunteer then you can apply for a non imm B or O visa and work permit. As far as I know applying for the visa has nothing to do with taxes.
