TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is currently in India and seeks guidance on resuming work in Thailand after their work permit and visa expired on June 6. They inquire if they need a letter from the Ministry of Labor to obtain a Certificate of Entry from the Thai embassy in India. The responses indicate that both the visa and work permit must be renewed, emphasizing the necessity of starting the process over again if the timeline to re-enter Thailand was not met. Additionally, there's mention of the difficulties in obtaining a new visa while still in Thailand.

I have a quick question i am on a tourist visa in thailand for 90 days and thats already done but i know we can stay till end of july but my question is do i have to go back home and renew my visa then come back here because i only have a single entry visa? Or can i renew it here
no one knows what will happen once the amnesty is over. You CANNOT buy a tourist visa IN thailand, so if you're going to get a new tourist visa you're gonna go to a thai consulate in another country and buy one once the borders open back up

You just missed the eligibility to obtain Certificate of entry(COE) by couple of day's. As far as my knowledge Is concerned, you need to Initiate a Non-B with all supporting documents as you did for the first time, good luck!

If you dont re enter Thailand and extend your visa and work permit before they expire, they will be void and you will need to start the whole process again. Eg new visa and w/p.
