What steps should I follow to apply for the DTV soft Power visa while training in Thailand?

I'm applying for DTV soft Power. I have just started my application! I flew back from Thailand on a 3 month tourist visa 2 days ago. I have the 500k baht in a high street UK bank account, and have had that money there for 3 months. I will be applying from the UK. I do have a remote job but it doesnt pay a lot. So not worth applying for the remote working DTV.

For my application, my friend has been successful already and he told me to put down 'unemployed' and annual income of 'under 20,000US$' Thats what he did, he's a full-time crypto bro though, but just said hes unemployed on his application.

So I think i will put down Unemployed and annual income of 'under 20,000 US$)

I have to pay the gym for my 6 months training which i intend to do next week.

Excited and nervous to get this done and sent off!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is applying for a DTV soft Power visa from the UK after recently returning from Thailand on a tourist visa. They have sufficient funds in a UK bank account but consider themselves unemployed with a low income due to a remote job that doesn't pay well. They received advice from a friend to declare themselves unemployed with an annual income under $20,000, expressing excitement and nervousness about completing the application while intending to also pay for Muay Thai training.

If you actually have a job you work remotely at, go that route no matter how much you make. It is much better.

Anonymous participant there is no requirement of how much you must earn. Quite a few people that signed up for 6 months of classes have been given a multi entry tourist visa, that is good for the six months of classes. Just saying. You can study Muay Thai under any visa.

Anonymous participant yes. I may have done the next range up because I have some passive income that I expect will be a little over $20k, but yes, unemployed and a little income.

Anonymous participant 657 ah I might be in the bracket as you then, I just looked at what 20k US$ is in GBP and that’s £14k.

Did you write a cover letter explaining about where you’ll get any income from or no need?
