I'm looking to apply for the DTV under the Soft Power Muay Thai route from the London embassy. I have had the 500k in my bank for 5 months now, is it likely that they'll ask for proof of ongoing income? And would it help to provide a sponsorship letter as well as bank statements?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The inquiry is about applying for the DTV visa via the Soft Power Muay Thai route from the London embassy, specifically regarding the need for proof of ongoing income when already possessing the required 500,000 baht in bank savings for 5 months. Community responses suggest that typically, only the 3-month bank statement showing the 500k may be necessary, along with a sponsorship letter from the gym. However, there is a possibility that the embassy may ask for proof of how the applicant plans to support themselves throughout the visa duration.

I just showed 1 month statement . Keep it simple and short. Got approval in 36 hours. Don't worry you will get it.

It's possible you could be asked to show how you intend to support yourself for the 5 year duration of the visa

If your doing Muay thai you won’t likely need that.

They’ll just want 3 months worth of 500k baht and the sponsorship letters form the gym
