TLDR : Answer Summary
To transfer the ownership of a pickup truck from your Thai wife to yourself, you will need to visit the Department of Land Transport (DLT) office. Essential documents include a copy of your passport, your retirement visa, the residence certificate from immigration, and the marriage certificate. It's also important that your wife accompanies you to sign the transfer papers at the DLT. Ensure that your name is correctly listed in the records to avoid any issues.

Just an update, originally DLT told me I could turn up and do myself if had id and house book copies and signed by the wife. Went today, she needs to with you to sign their transfer papers. Another wasted trim, back again on Monday. To cap things a Thai guy reversed into be and broke my tail light. "Sorry I was on my phone and didn't look" Didn't want to get the police so let it be. What a day!

Take care to get your name in the book in English. My friend just got his transferred but his name is written in Thai and could be anything. As long as your wife agrees it should be quite simple.
